This is a typical quiz and contains 10 questions. Two questions measure your ability to apply topics in the current or previous lessons. All questions are worth 3 points each and answered by short essay. You should be prepared to explain concepts like but not necessarily limited to these:
- Know how various patterns of an
INSERT
statement work and why. - Know how automatic numbering works in the context of Oracle and MySQL databases.
- Know how constraints impact and/or limit how
INSERT
statements work. - Know how transactions work and why.
- Know how the who-audit columns work in the sample Video Store application.
- Know how cardinality applies to column data types for
INSERT
statements. - Know how to work with mandatory and optional columns in
INSERT
statements.
